Faculty and staff now have a new way to find out what’s new and what’s happening at UBC in Vancouver and the Okanagan.
UBC Today – a bi-weekly digest designed specifically for the university’s working community – launches today. In it, readers will find a broad range of updates about the university, event listings, one-on-one interviews with senior leaders, and stories from across UBC.
UBC Today was designed to offer:
- A new way to find out what’s new and what’s happening: UBC Today is created by the UBC Internal Communications team and is sent to all current faculty and staff at the university.
- An ongoing resource: The newsletter includes a resource spotlight for tools and information to support faculty and staff in their day-to-day work. It also contains 30-Second Bios featuring top tips from UBC colleagues. Click here to submit a bio.
- A view of Vancouver and the Okanagan: UBC Today offers a broad view across Vancouver and the Okanagan. We recognize that faculty and staff in the Okanagan also receive the UBC Okanagan Exchange newsletter. To minimize duplication, content will be coordinated between these two newsletters as best as possible – because of this, readers may notice a greater balance of Vancouver-specific updates in UBC Today.
