Jennifer Burns, CIO, appointed as AVP Information Technology

Jennifer Burns, Chief Information Officer, has been appointed as Associate Vice-President, Information Technology and has been approved for an extension of her appointment as Chief Information Officer on a five-year term starting on July 1, 2017.

Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, Jennifer provides leadership in ensuring the Institution’s digital capabilities meet the needs of UBC’s teaching and research community, as well as identifying opportunities to deliver efficient and effective administrative solutions. As CIO, Jennifer is responsible for IT delivery across all of UBC’s campuses, and is also responsible for the operation of UBC’s Information Technology department.
