Stephanie McKeown appointed Chief Institutional Research Officer

Dr. Stephanie McKeown is the newly-appointed Chief Institutional Research Officer (CIRO) for the University of British Columbia – a role that spans both the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses.

Dr. McKeown has been working in Institutional Research for 25 years. She has been with UBC Okanagan since 2007, and has been the Director of OPAIR (Okanagan) since 2010. She is currently the Vice-President of the Canadian Institutional Research and Planning Association, and has been a member of the Research Committee for the B.C. Council on Admissions and Transfer since 2013. Dr. McKeown has also previously served as Chair of the B.C. Institutional Researchers and Planners Association, and President of the Pacific Northwest Association for Institutional Researchers and Planners.
