10 words or less to describe what I do at UBC: I research technology and cultural memory and teach in the Bachelor of Media Studies.

The best thing about my work/role at UBC: I have lots of freedom to let my research take me in new and exciting directions.

My favourite place to spend my lunch hour: The crêpe truck on Tuesdays!

My top UBC tip for my colleagues, or for someone beginning their UBC journey: It's a young university with lots of new people all the time, so seek out other new people! There's so much opportunity here for collaboration and to create new and interesting things in research and teaching.
